Fred Tyler and George Appleby are neighbors. They meet by chance in the street on a Monday morning about 10:00.
George: Hi, Fred. What are you doing home, today ? Not sick, I hope.
Fred: No, nothing like that. I´m home for good. I retired last Friday.
George: Retired ! You´re not so old to retire.
Fred: Yes, I´m fifty. I began work when I was twenty.
George: What are you going to do with yourself now ?
Fred: Well, my wife has a list of things form me to do around the house.
George: Yes, I know... fix the sink in the bathroom, build some storage shelves, clean the attic...
Fred: Yes, those are all on the list. But how did you know it ?
George: All women make out lists like that when their husbands retire. If you listen to her, you´ll be working all the time.
Fred: Yes, you´re quite right.
George: Now, what you have to do, Fred, is take up gardening.
Fred: But I don´t like garden.
George: Well, you´ll need to do something to get out of the house and get some exercise.
Fred: I like to fish.
George: No exercise in that, Fred. Tell you what. We´ll take some long hikes together - starting tomorrow. I´ll see you at sim a.m., Fred, and we´ll start your retirement the right way. So long. (George walks away)
Fred: (to himself) My gosh ! I didn´t know retirement would be so hard. I´ll be too busy doing the things my family and my friends want me to do. If this keeps up, I´ll have to get another job and go back to work again to have some peace.

Be Yourself

Someone falls to pieces
Sleeping all alone
Someone kills the pain
Spinning in the silence
To finally drifts away
Someone gets excited
In a chapel yard
Catches a bouquet
Another lays a dozen
White roses on a grave

(yeah)
And be yourself is all that you can do
(yeah)
To be yourself is all that you can do

Someone finds salvation
in everyone
And another only pain
Someone tries to hide himself
Down inside himself he prays
Someone swears his true love
Until the end of time
Another runs away
Separate or united?
Healthy or insane?

And be yourself is all that you can do
(All that you can do)
To be yourself is all that you can do
(All that you can do)
To be yourself is all that you can do
(All that you can do)
To be yourself is all that you can do

Even when you've paid enough,
Been pulled apart
Or been held up
With every single memory of
The good or bad
Faces of love
Don't lose any sleep tonight
I'm sure everything will end up alright

You may win or lose

But to be yourself is all that you can do
(Yeah)
To be yourself is all that you can do
(Oh)
