Antes de iniciarmos o nosso primeiro tópico gramatical, vamos conhecer os PRONOMES PESSOAIS

Lembrando que:

I e You são a primeira e a segunda pessoas do singular respectivamente.

He, She e It são as terceiras pessoas do singular.

We, You, They são a primeira, segunda e terceira pessoas do plural.

Vamos ao tópico.

O que identifica um verbo na língua inglesa é a partícula TO, vejamos --> To Be, To Say, ou seja essa é forma principal do verbo e é chamado de INFINITIVO.

O Simple Present é formado do Infinitivo sem a partícula TO para todas as pessoas, exceto as 3ª pessoas do singular (HE, SHE, IT), ás quais se acrescenta S ou ES ao final do verbo.

Vejamos: Para as terceiras pessoas do singular (He, She, It)

a) Acrescenta-se ES aos verbos terminados em: S, SH, X, Z, O;
b) Y precedido de consoante
c) Os verbos terminados em Y precedido de vogal seguem a regra geral de acrescentar apenas S

Ex: Mr. Brown brings flowers to his wife. He always reads the newspaper until 7 o´clock.
Ex: Love brings happiness.

O Simple Present é usado para expressar ações habituais, verdades permanentes ou generalizações. Os seguintes advérbios ou locuções adverbiais são comumente usados com o Simple Present:
